Assurant Reaches $1 Million Milestone in Support of Move For Hunger

Company Donates $200,000 Through Annual Fundraising Challenge to Fight Food Insecurity

With this latest contribution, Assurant has donated more than $1 million to the organization, underscoring the collective power of its global workforce to drive meaningful impact in the fight against food insecurity.

In May, Assurant launched 鈥淢oving to Fight Hunger,鈥� its annual internal fundraising challenge. For every mile of exercise completed by an employee during the month, the company donates one dollar, up to $200,000, to Move For Hunger. The challenge was hosted by The Assurant Foundation, which strengthens communities by supporting charitable partners that protect the places where people live and can thrive, connect individuals with local resources, foster inclusion, and prepare leaders for the future.
