Dollar General Celebrates Fifth-Year Anniversary of Feeding America庐 Partnership with Additional $1 Million Donation

Company鈥檚 Impact Surpasses 60M Meals Donated

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Dollar General (NYSE: DG) announced an additional $1 million donation to celebrate its fifth-year partnership anniversary with 庐, which helps address national food insecurity impacting more than million people in the U.S. Since piloting the program in 2019 and formally announcing it in , Dollar General has donated more than $5 million as well as more than 60 million meals* through in-kind donations.

In 2024, Dollar General donated more than 28 million pounds of food from stores and distribution centers, and in February 2025, the Company surpassed an exciting milestone of providing more than 50 million meals*. Dollar General currently serves more than 40% of U.S. counties through product donations.

With approximately 75% of the U.S. population living within five miles of a DG store, the Company is uniquely positioned to help address food insecurity and provide access to affordable, healthier food options. In addition to its Feeding America partnership, Dollar General offers fresh produce in more than 6,700 stores; partnered with a registered dietician to develop recipes using ingredients from DG stores; and earlier this year added nearly , more than half of which are new Clover Valley庐 food and beverages to further invest in the health of its hometown communities.

*According to the USDA, 1.2 pounds is equivalent to one meal.
